Andersons Bay, Dunedin

It was time for this guest room to shine again and find new life. When the house was purchased, the guest room walls were covered by a heavy orange wallpaper, the colour choice made the room appear smaller and not as relaxing like my clients wanted the space to be.

Inspired by a romantic new light shade, the feature wall behind the bed was painted with multiple tones of purple and magenta and the flowers in the corners match the ones on the fabric pattern. The rest of the guest room is kept white and simple to maximize the light and focus the attention on the mural.
